Is not just a political movement, but a moral imperative. We would not consider a man active in his church and community, but abusive and neglectful to his own wife and kids, to be a moral man. Charity first begins at home, then extends outward to help and preserve the country. With crumbling infrastructure, over-dependence on overseas manufacturing and energy; rising crime and failing public education, America has a number of higher priority issues that must be addressed to ensure our citizens are taken care of before focusing on other global matters. We have the resources to make America great again, but our ruling class oligarchs and establishment politicians have been profiting by selling-out our great nation. This needs to stop, now.
America First
Border Security
A nation without a border is not a country. We secure our border because we love our citizens inside it, not because we hate those outside of it. We have ceded control of our border to drug cartels who profit enormously from human and drug trafficking, which destabilizes Mexico while endangering our own population. To make matters worse, our current government refuses to complete the wall started under the Trump administration, while funding non-governmental organizations that actively recruit the migrant invasion! Cities and towns across the nation are strained by the influx of illegals requiring assistance. American citizens are suffering from increased crime and drug overdoses. These atrocities, along with the assault, rape and enslavement of migrants, means there is NOTHING humanitarian about our open borders.
As a Catholic, I believe life begins at conception and abortion is murder. As a strict Constitutionalist, I also believe abortion is a states’ rights issue and I am proud to live in Texas where we protect the unborn. However, it is not enough just to protect the child. We must also do more for women, who find themselves victims of rape or unwanted pregnancies, to ensure they have the necessary medical and economic support to bring the child to term; and assist those who want to give up the child for adoption. We must also hold men more accountable for their roles in these situations, especially as far as rape is concerned. Much more punitive measures should be put in place to further ensure they do not repeat the offense.
Protecting Innocent Unborn Lives
The basic litmus test as to whether a country truly embraces democracy and individual liberty is whether or not it permits free speech – even when we find said speech objectionable or offensive. Censorship has never led to anything positive in the history of mankind and is a tool of an authoritarian government. Too often, over the past several years, dissenting voices have been censored by our own government (or its proxies) for disagreeing with the establishment’s “accepted” narrative. Furthermore, recent history has shown most dissenting speech has been correct. We can not restore our constitutional ideals in this nation until we truly return to the individual’s right to freedom of speech!
Free Speech
The right to own and bear arms is indelibly ingrained in the very fiber of the United States, whether it’s for hunting, sport or self-protection. Our very nation was born by brave patriots who were willing to take up arms and overthrow a tyrannical government. This check on power must always remain. Thomas Jefferson said, “When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. When the government fears the people, there is liberty.”
Protecting our 2nd Amendment
In 2019, President Trump presided over the greatest American economy I have ever witnessed. Manufacturing was returning to our shores, more equitable trade deals with other countries were brokered; we were energy independent and actually exporting gas and oil. People re-entered the workforce and unemployment was low. Working-class wages rose 10% that year alone, and inflation was at 1%. Then the Biden administration took charge and, in essence, overturned everyone of President Trump’s policies. This lead to the economic disaster we’re experiencing now!
We are now energy dependent on other countries. Inflation has been fueled by enormous deficit spending by the federal government, while the Federal Reserve Bank continues to print massive amounts of money – further devaluing the dollar! This has led to “stagflation”, which means inflation is soaring while the economy is in recession. Not good! However, the good news is stagflation can be reversed by returning our country to America First principles, as President Trump’s policies have shown.
Economy
The past two election cycles have led to a growing portion of the American population questioning whether or not we truly have free and fair elections. Massive ballot mailings without signature verification, illegal ballot harvesting, ballot drop boxes, and states refusing to follow their own election laws have given rationale-minded people legitimate concerns. Yet, astoundingly, election integrity has become a bi-partisan issue!
The vast majority of Americans favor voter IDs and signature verification; and most favor in-person voting except for the truly confined and citizens and service people overseas. Simple steps can be taken to ensure elections are open, transparent and fair. This will enable concerned citizens to feel like election results are legitimate, once again, as rightful proper leadership is put in place.
Election Integrity
If you suspect our country is purposely being led in the wrong direction or are 100% certain of it, either way, you’re right. But don’t be discouraged. The time to take action is now. Our best chance to turn things around and restore our Republic to what it once was, and preserve our way of life, is to elect leaders who are strict constitutionalists that put America First.
